Parties, Presentations & Philanthropy at 360|Flex
We are just a week away from the second 360|Flex conference and expo in the Emerald City of Seattle. All of us here at Cynergy are seriously stoked to be a huge part of helping the community to come out and be a part some of the best minds in the world on Flex brain dumping right into your grey matter. Just check out the list of speakers and their sessions and you'll see what I mean.
If you haven't registered you still have a week left! As a former Seattleite I could drone on for hours about the incredible sights to see, food to eat, and places to go.Except were all coming here for one thing, serious Flex RIA love.
Register Now!
From day one we've believed that what it means to be a real market leader is to give back to the community. That's exactly why we beat down the door to become the Diamond Sponsor for this show where we could not only make sure that incredible conferences like 360|Flex can be delivered at incredible prices, but we can invest back into the community through Philanthropy...Oh yeah and we can throw some awesome parties too!
Lets start with the parties!
Monday night 360|Flex will be hosting a recruiting party from 6-8pm on the terrace. Well, we decided all good parties need one thing... An exclusive after-party. Like all exclusive parties, this one is invite only and the location is a Big Fat Secret. We decided to call it, the Big Fat Secret Party. So, how do you get in? Come to that recruiting party holding your resume and find the Cynergy crew. They'll be wearing the bright red shirts. Walk up, introduce yourself, hand over your resume and talk about what you think an incredible place to work would be like and listen to the Cynergy folks talk about why at Cynergy we say, You're going to love it here.If you think you'd love it here, ask for an invite. Pretty easy eh?
Onto the presentations!
Monday @ 10am Aaron Adams who heads up Cynergy's award winning User Experience Group will present Design Eye for the Dev Guy or how not to wanna strangle your designers and how to build simply stunning RIAs. Aaron might be the industry expert in the Designer to Developer Workflow.
Monday @ 1pm Karl Johnson will be showing some RIA apps like you've never seen.Better yet, hes going to be showing off how they were designed, integrated and actually built. You think Flex looks like Flex? You think pre-built skins are hot? You ain't seen nothing yet. Oh yeah and you get to find out what the title TBD actually means!
Monday @ 4pm Andy Trice will be digging into the drawing API and showing off things you seriously never thought were possible in Flex. Real time visualization of complex data sets and how some *real* customers rolled out *real* applications that made a *real* difference.
Monday @4pm Yours truly will be going into how you build out a world-class RIA development team. It wasn't easy but we re-invented a whole company to do nothing but design, built and deploy RIAs and I want to tell you how we did it. Trust me, it opens eyes.
Finally Philanthropy
Many of you might have heard about the Charity Code Jam going on for Northwest Harvest. Well at Cynergy the second we heard about this, we knew we had to be a huge part of making it happen. We will be donating the services of our User Experience Group to lead the design work, our Technical Leads to help drive the development and we will donate the tools and processes that have made our LookFirst approach to developing serious RIAs possible including our Wiki and our integrated issue management system. If you want to help an incredible cause and get a real world view of how a world class RIA team works, come to the Jam and donate you time and your mad coding skills.
