Cynergy Systems Awarded Contract by U.S. Library of Congress
November 25, 2003, Reston, VA – Cynergy Systems announced today it has been selected to deliver mission critical application for the U.S. Library of Congress.
Cynergy Systems, partnering with GSA provider Avineon, has been selected to build the next generation of the US Library of Congress's mission critical ISIS system. ISIS manages the day-to-day operations of the Congressional Research Service, the research arm of the United States Congress inlcuding all reasearch requests used to formulate the basis for Federal legislation. Cynergy has been tasked with the reengineering and redevelopment of the current PowerBuilder/Sybase client/server system to a completely web solution using PowerBuilder, EAServer and Cynergy's EAF 3.0 as the development platform and Oracle 9i as the backend database.
Cynergy Systems was selected largely as a result of the large scale success Cynergy has had in past projects at the Library of Congress in developing PowerBuilder/EAServer web applications using Cynergy's Enterprise Application Framework 3.0. Cynergy has a full application development and database team working on site and anticipates completing the entire reengineering and redesign effort by September 2004.
