Cynergy Systems Releases Log4x for Macromedia Flex
December 1, 2005, Washington, DC – Cynergy Systems announced today the release of Log4x, a toolkit to assist in the development and runtime monitoring and debugging of applications built with Macromedia Flex. Cynergy Systems recognizes the value of runtime metrics on the execution of a Flex application and Log4x provides the capability to both monitor application usage and report client side errors seamlessly.
Log4x takes advantage the Flex web services model, and can be intricately controlled by the developer on a per-application basis during development, and by administrators in production. Integrating seamlessly with Log4j, Log4x provides a similar programming model making it intuitive for enterprise developers with Log4j experience. When integrated early on into a project, developers can use Log4x to locate problems earlier in the development cycle shortening the overall time to delivery and enhancing the end user experience. Log4x is completely seamless to the end user and causes no delays in the execution of your application.
Log4x is being released under a community source license free of charge to all licensed Flex users. "We feel quite strongly about contributing to the Flex development community," said Dave Wolf, Vice President of Consulting at Cynergy Systems, "We've had decades of collective experience at developing and deploying enterprise class solutions and want to provide some of the fruits of that experience back to every Flex developer."
