July 2, 2008, San Diego, CA – Here at Cynegry we typically build enterprise software applications. That’s our bread and butter. But when Microsoft and InXile called wanting to develop a Silverlight version of the LineRider application, we couldn’t resist.
Our all-star, Silverlight practice, including several alumnus of the Microsoft National Design Challenge first-place team, set out to develop and enhance the tool for making Bosh fly around the screen. Drawing from experience in our San Diego, Sydney and Washington DC offices, our Silverlight team developed the application in a matter of weeks using Silverlight Beta 2 and the Microsoft Expression studio. The original LineRider experience was preserved and a variety of features, including chat, were added in this version.
The LineRider technology was recently featured in a series of McDonalds commercials in the United States. In these popular spots we get to see Bosh riding line drawings of Dasani water bottles and Big Macs further underscoring the commercial appeal of this great website.
